Hearts and Sleeves - Week Six

Nothing shouts tacky quite so loudly as chipped nail polish. You know it’s time to break out the remover and put on a few new coats of polish when the chips on your nails draw more attention to themselves than the actual color. Not convinced that chipped is ugly? Then think about this – do cars or walls with peeling paint look chic or classy? Avoid looking like a cheap first car by keeping your nails neat, nice, and smooth. Do double coats of polish or use a top coat to lengthen the life of your manicure, and if you still struggle with keeping the chipping under control stick with lighter colors which will not show damage as badly.
