Hearts and Sleeves - Week Eight

Guests are coming over in fifteen minutes and your house is a disaster! Quick clean so no one knows a thing by starting in the living room and taking a basket and stuffing it with things lying around that you don’t want to be seen and tucking the basket out of sight in the laundry room, then taking a cloth and wiping dust off of the main surfaces, and plumping the couch cushions. Next do the bathroom by grabbing paper towels and cleaner, wiping down the sink, countertop and mirror, picking up hair and fuzzies off the floor, wiping the toilet, and then pulling out fresh hand towels. If you’re planning on serving food, dash to the kitchen and put dirty dishes in the dishwasher, or if it’s full, stack nicely on the counter and rinse the dirtiest ones. Wipe down the counters, pull out the food your serving, dishes, and arrange nicely on the table or counter. Put on your most charming smile, and you are ready for guests!
