Hearts and Sleeves - Week Twenty Nine

Don’t want to be on a strict diet but want to eat better? Start by making these small changes in your eating habits; you’ll be amazed at how much so little can do. Instead of eating three full meals a day, eat small portions more frequently during the day. To help yourself feel fuller from these shrunken helpings, serve them on smaller dishes. Believe it or not, small dishes trick your mind into being satisfied with less. And whenever you have a craving for sweets, don’t resist completely and then binge later during the week. Instead just have a little bit of sweetness to satisfy yourself. Not a grande mocha, but a short. Not a bag of Oreos, just two cookies. And when you want a snack, reach for fruit and nuts before you grab the Snickers. Do this and you might find that these little changes make all the difference in the world.
