Hearts and Sleeves - Week Twenty Eight

Needs in other people’s lives are not there to stay unanswered, but are there to be met by the people of God. Next time you see a need, don’t just take mental note to pray for them, but do something about it. Some of these needs might look like a lonely girl at church, a person who is tight on cash, a discouraged friend, a bathroom at home that needs cleaning, or a single mom who needs some time to rest. Each of these, and many more, are needs that you can answer! And if you don’t see any needs, start praying that God will show you things that you can do. Today is not a day to be passive about a hurting world, but it is a day to live out what you believe by pouring out the love of Christ. (Philippians 2:3-4)
