Hearts and Sleeves - Week Two
The New Year rolls around and you are making a resolution –again- to get in shape. You get a gym membership and lay out a plan to work out one hour every day - but what are the chances you’ll stick to your plan? Instead of making big commitments that you might not be able to fulfill, start with something more manageable. Come up with a fifteen minute exercise routine that you can do every day at home. Maybe go to the gym once a week. After a few weeks add more exercises to your routine and go to the gym more often. Before you know it, you will have established a habit of staying in shape and you’ll have learned that it’s not dramatic and short lived changes, but long term consistency that will make your New Year’s resolution finally happen.
