Maybe you noticed it when he was staring at you from across the room, or it might have been when he made that slightly awkward comment in the hallway. Whatever tipped you off, you know that someone has a crush on you. To make this easier on both of you remember that this is a great compliment to you, so don’t feel offended if it’s someone that you don’t like. And if it is someone you do like, you can’t take his current emotional status and turn it towards your own advantage. Give him space for a season because if it’s meant to be anything more than a crush, God will work it out and bring the two of you together. If it is not to be, the emotional storm will fade away with no one the worse for the wear. In the meantime respect him by not discussing the situation with others, still treating him as a friend, and never putting you or him in any potentially awkward situations.
