Hearts and Sleeves - Week Nineteen

We always say that you are what you eat, but it is also true that what you eat shows up on your face. Instead of slathering tons of products on to get results for your skin problems, start eating the cures. If you have issues with acne, eat bright red and orange fruits and veggies like carrots and tomatoes. If you’ve got dry skin, drink tons of water and eat foods with good fats like avocados and olive oil. If you’ve got red or blotchy skin, avoid hot and spicy things and eat calming foods such as fish and cucumbers. Who would have ever thought that a fresh salad could double as a face lift!
