Hearts and Sleeves - Week Fifteen
Jewelry is just like sugar – positively scrumptious but too much of it can make you quite ill. Wear jewelry with caution because overloading it will undo any good it might have been capable of. If you have one large, eye catching piece, keep everything else simple. Also make sure that if you have noisy jewelry, wear it only for occasions where it will not be distracting. For example, wear your clanging bracelets at a boisterous youth event, not to school for a midterm test. Wear jewelry that blends with your entire outfit (delicate jewelry with softer fabrics and big bling with simple outfits). And lastly, be sure that all of your jewelry pieces match to each other. Don’t have silver earrings, copper necklaces, and multi-colored wood bracelets. Match your metals, textures, and sizes for consistency.
